THE 2023 Cadillac CT4 & CT4-V SERIES SEDAN NEAR ME

August 12th, 2024 by

The 2023 Cadillac CT4 is a compact luxury vehicle offering high-end features and options that make it extremely competitive against rivals such as the Genesis G70, Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and the BMW 3-Series.
Cadillac makes customization the name of the game, allowing buyers to choose from a wide variety of trims and features, creating a luxury vehicle that truly meets your needs. While this is often appealing to buyers, comparing your options can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. Don’t worry, though, we’re here to make it simple. Let’s take a look at some of the basic differences between the 2023 CT4 and 2023 CT4-V.

TRIM OPTIONS
The CT4 comes in three different trims, offering buyers a choice of a Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan, or a Sport Sedan. The CT4-V is available as a Sedan or a Sedan Blackwing. Each trim option has unique features that may appeal to different buyers depending on personal preference.

PERFORMANCE
The CT4 offers a smooth ride and crisp handling that makes it impressive in virtually every driving scenario. The base models come with a 272-hp 4-cylinder paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Premium Luxury Sedan also offers the option to upgrade to a 310-hp 2.7 turbo 4-cylinder with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The CT4-V Sedan has the same 2.7-liter 4-cylinder but has an additional output that bumps the horsepower to 325. It also has a slew of standard features to elevate your driving experience. Choose this trim and you’ll get Brembo front brakes, a limited-slip differential, launch control, performance-tuned suspension, and a traction control system that is specifically tuned for sportier driving.
The CT4-V Blackwing is the fastest and most expensive option. It appeals to true driving enthusiasts, thanks to a twin-turbo V6 engine that offers 472 horsepower and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission – which is rare in the world of newer cars. This trim is ideal for drivers who want the speed and performance of a sports car paired with the practicality of a sedan.
All of the CT4 and CT4-V trims are available in rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), with the exception of the Blackwing, which is only available in RWD.

FUEL ECONOMY
If you’re looking for great fuel economy, the CT4 is an excellent option, especially if you stick with the standard RWD. The CT4 models offer 23 miles to the gallon in the city and 34 on the highway, while the CT4-V Sedan gets 20 MPG city and 29 MPG highway and the Blackwing only manages to pull out 15 MPG in the city and 23 on the highway.

SAFETY FEATURES
The CT4 comes standard with Cadillac’s Smart Safety package, which features rear parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, and more.
Additional standard safety features offered on the CT4-V include front pedestrian braking, forward collision alert, rear seat reminder, rear park assist, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, and an HD rear vision camera. The Safety Alert Seat also uses seat vibration to help you identify the direction of a potential crash, so you can quickly take action.

INTERIOR

The CT4 Luxury comes with an 8-inch diagonal infotainment screen, two USB ports, Bluetooth, voice recognition, wireless smartphone charging, Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio. It also comes standard with simulated leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and power-operated front seats.
Upgrade to the Premium Luxury trim and you’ll enjoy features like leather seats, adaptive cruise control, a universal garage door opener, auto-dimming mirrors, and 18-inch alloy wheels. You can also add the optional Super Cruise self-driving aid to the Premium Luxury and Sport trims, allowing for semi-autonomous hands-free driving on certain pre-mapped stretches of highways.

The CT4-V features artful aerodynamics that combines science with aesthetics. Choose the CT4-V and you’ll get an array of racing-centric features such as a thick-rimmed performance steering wheel with alloy paddle shifters and quick-access buttons that allow you to turn Performance Traction Management on and off and to switch to V-Mode. The Blackwing also offers two optional Carbon Fiber packages that are specifically designed to reduce lift and give you optimal handling and control at high speeds.

The CT4-V also offers high-end tech features such as a premium audio system, available Head-Up Display, and an available integrated Performance Data Recorder that provides real-time video in 1080p. The Driver Mode Selector allows you to choose from a variety of vehicle drive modes, such as Sport, Snow/Ice, Tour, and Track. You can also personalize your driving experience, choosing the ideal settings for the transmission, steering, brake pedal feel, and engine sound.
