HALLOWEEN HAUNTS FOR THE FAMILY IN BERKS COUNTY, PA

Ghost Tour of Brinton Lodge
If you’re ready for a spooky adventure, you won’t want to miss the Ghost Tour of Brinton Lodge. How often do you get the opportunity to explore a haunted 300-year-old mansion by candlelight?
This ghost tour will take you through darkened hallways and secret rooms where you’ll explore the hidden world of mysteries, ghosts, and supernatural encounters. You’ll quickly see why Brinton Lodge was named one of the Top 10 Most Haunted Houses in PA. The tours are held Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through November 10th and on Tuesday, October 30th, and Wednesday, October 31st.

Mast Farms Corn Maze
If ghosts and ghouls aren’t your cup of tea, you can still get into the fall spirit at the Mast Farms Corn Maze. This 19th annual event features two corn mazes sprawling 12 acres, a hayride, ziplines, pedal carts, an animal exhibit, and more. If you go at night, make sure you bring your flashlight so you can explore the maze in the dark! The farm is open on Fridays and Saturdays through November 7th.

Escape the State
Do you have what it takes to beat The State Theater’s pop-up escape room? You’ll need to use your sleuthing skills to find the key to unlock the front doors of the theater before your 60-minutes runs out. If you don’t complete this task in time, you’ll be trapped inside the theater watching “Groundhog Day” over and over … forever!
Escape the State is a fun and challenging experience you won’t soon forget. Bookings are available Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and 11 am.

Fall Foliage Train Excursions
The foliage is stunning right now, and there’s no better way to enjoy it than on a Rail Diesel Car Excursion on the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad.
The ride will take you from Reading to Jim Thorpe, giving you the opportunity to take in the fall foliage and glistening lakes as you travel over bridges and through tunnels. You’ll have 3.5 hours to explore the restaurants, shops, and museums in Jim Thorpe before you’ll need to embark on the train for your return trip.

Leesport Sunday Flea Market
On the first and third Sunday of each month, head to the Leesport Farmer’s Market for their Sunday Flea Market. Here you’ll find previously owned tools, housewares, antiques and collectibles, furniture, clothing, and tons of unique items you didn’t even know you needed!
There are over 170 spaces under shelter and they’ve now combined the Farmer’s Market and the flea market. This means you’ll be able to pick up fresh local produce, baked goods, and meats while you seek out fun flea market finds.
